What are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers are injectable gels placed beneath the skin to restore volume, enhance facial contours or soften the appearance of lines and folds.

Most of the fillers used at AB Aesthetics are made using hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally present within the skin. Different fillers have different textures and properties, allowing us to select the most appropriate product for the area being treated and the result we want to achieve.

Dermal fillers are not permanent. They are gradually broken down by the body over time, although the length of your result will vary depending on the product, treatment area, amount used and your individual metabolism.

What can dermal fillers improve?
